Mercia Crematoria was formed in 2004 and is closely related to companies with a long tradition of development and construction of public buildings.
Mercia has completed five crematoria, all originally let to Memoria Ltd and now owned and operated by Dignity PLC.

Development of crematoria is an increasingly complex business with design, environmental, planning and financial issues to be resolved. Mercia carries out the complete development package for public and private sector partners.
Because town planning for crematoria is so complicated, Mercia has its own in-house planning capability.
